I got some more quality work in this morning with @farid_herrera.

Movement and general flexibility are incredibly important for our health, especially as we age.

The general consensus is that you lose the ability to bend, balance, stretch, jump, run, sprint, lift and move as we get older.

However, this only happens if you neglect all those things.

As the saying goes, “use it or lose it”, and so it’s no wonder the majority of people are stiff, inflexible and tight because they don’t use their body like they did when they were young.

Too many hours in front of screens, instead of moving like we were designed too. I can be guilty of this too.

But, if you dedicate time to opening your body, stretching it, and moving it in different plains then it will respond.

It may take a little while, but it will slowly improve until you get to a point where you are unrecognisable from your former self.

So, start to add play and movement into your daily routine – even if that means starting with a walk or some Qi gong – and build from there.

You won’t regret it.
