I know it can be extremely hard to remain focused in today’s modern world, where distraction is everywhere you look.
And, with everything that’s taken place, this has only been exaggerated over the last 2 months.
However, keeping your eye on the prize, and continuing to search for the truth is the only way we as a society will come through this attack.
(And make no mistake, this is an attack on our physical, mental & emotional health, finances, freedoms & civil liberties.)
So, when ever the media tell you look in a certain direction, and try to stir up your emotions, pause for a minute …
Instead of reacting emotionally, take a deep breath and ask yourself …
“Why are they focusing their attention over here?”
“Who gains from me reacting emotionally to this?”
&
“What are they trying to hide from me?”
Responding this way, and taking a 1000ft view of any situation, will give you a much clearer perspective as to what’s really going on in the world.
Now, I am not saying this is easy, as it comes with its own difficulties – but the hero’s journey always does.
For example, by not following the trend of the moment and buying into the mainstream media’s latest nonsense, you may be condemned or criticised by your family, your friends, your lovers, or your co-workers.
(In fact, this is almost certainly par for the course.)
This is their programming that began at birth, doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.
To quote a famous film …
“You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inert, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.”
Your loved ones opinions of you, and views on your beliefs, will most certainly test your commitment to the truth.
Therefore, you are going to have to be stronger than that.
And, whilst it can momentarily seem easier to retreat back into the “safety” of the system and the thinking of the masses …
You know to do so will mean to not be true to yourself.
(Pretending to be someone you are not, can be extremely draining and toxic for the human body … and this is something I will go into deeper another time.)
Now the transition to being committed to the truth isn’t always a smooth one, and there can be a toing and froing at the start of your journey.
(This is completely normal, and you have to give yourself time to adjust to these new truths and your new way of thinking.
Remember … if it took a lifetime for them to mold your reality for you, then it might take longer than a day to fully awaken.)
However, the key to remaining committed to the truth, like with anything in life, is to listen to your heart and follow your intuition.
If you do this, you will never be guided wrong.
Although it maybe tough at times, keep in mind that the journey of a thousand miles always begins with a single step.
And as with everything in life, it is the truth – not the trend of the moment – that will set you free.
Onwards & Upwards
