“At the end of the day, I am peace because my intentions are good and my heart is pure.”

Throughout your journey, you will always face obstacles, challenges, and people who don’t agree with your beliefs … it’s par for the course.

It’s these hurdles that actually allow us to grow by sharpening our sword and developing our resolve.

They do this by testing what we have learned, as well as exposing the areas we need to improve upon.

Instead of letting these tests derail you, see them as an opportunity to grow and to show people who you truly are.

By being honest, open and vulnerable in a world that has become increasingly fake polished, your sincerity will shine through.

And once people can see and feel that you are coming from a place of love and compassion, not only will they be open to your message but you will build connections with them much faster.

Yes, it can be hard to open up and to speak the truth as it can leave you exposed to criticism and ridicule, but just saying what others want to hear doesn’t serve anyone.

It doesn’t serve the people you are trying to help, and it doesn’t serve you on a personal level.

In fact, just saying what people want you to hear will more than likely leave you feeling numb, hollow, and resenting yourself …

… and anyone’s who’s experienced this before (as I am sure we all have) will know that’s not a fun place to be.

So, instead of trying to please everybody else which will only lead to you slowly eroding your own self-respect, speak and act from a place of truth.

As Marcus Aurelius once said …

“If it is not right do not do it; if it is not true do not say it.”

This doesn’t mean you have to be blunt or nasty others …

…it just means staying true to your beliefs and convictions as well as what you feel is moral in your heart and soul.

And when you act and make decisions from both those places, you can’t help but be at peace with yourself …

and that at the end of the day is what truly counts.
