With all this hysteria around a virus that will more than likely not affect anyone who has a strong functioning immune system, I wanted to talk about a few things that people should actually be worried about …
Things that are affecting millions of lives, and that may affect the people you know and love.
One of these things is The Birth Control Pill.
Hormonal contraceptives and hormone replacement therapies are classified as carcinogenic to humans (group 1) by the International Agency for Research on Cancer.
Class 1 means that it is a known substance that causes cancer in humans.
In fact, it was in 2007 that the International Agency for Research on Cancer said that based on consistent evidence from studies in recent years, it was reclassifying hormonal menopause therapy from “possibly carcinogenic” to “carcinogenic.”
The declaration from the World Health Organization’s cancer agency, which is widely regarded as the international authority on cancer-causing agents, came after several high-profile studies linking combination hormone replacement therapy, or HRT, to breast cancer.
The analysis, conducted by a panel of 21 scientists, concluded that estrogen and progestin therapy for menopause also increased the risk of endometrial cancer.
The agency had also previously determined that the Pill combining estrogen and progestin can cause liver cancer, and further research has now demonstrated that it also increases the risk of breast and cervical cancer.
There is also research showing that the Pill could be linked to increased death rates of women between the ages of 35-44.
Shocking right?
It’s even more shocking when you look at the stats and find out that the Pill has been taken by over 200 million women.
It is currently prescribed to 3.5 million British women today, with one-quarter of all 16 – 49 year-olds using it.
What’s worse is that not all of these women are using the Pill to stop conception.
The Pill is also prescribed for irregular periods, PCOS, endometriosis, acne, menstrual cramps, and low estrogen conditions – all of which could instead be managed by diet and lifestyle changes.
If you are reading this as someone who’s been taking the Pill, I bet you weren’t told about these dangers by your GP when the Pill was prescribed to you?
In fact, I personally have spoken to countless women who have been using this drug for over a decade or even two, and none of them were aware of the associated risks and dangers.
The truth is there are many drugs that can cause cancer, including cancer-fighting chemotherapies, immune-suppressing medications, and radiation therapy …
…. and if you’re going to take drugs with the potential to cause you harm, you should be aware of all the risks …
And when it comes to the Pill, Cancer is just one of those risks.
So, if you want to find out more about the Pill I have two fantastic interviews you can listen to, both of which are with world-leading experts on this topic.
You can find these interviews here:
- 131 – Revive Yourself – Dr. Jolene Brighten Author of Beyond The Pill

2. 120 – Revive Yourself – Jane Bennett Author Of ‘The Pill: Are Your Sure It’s For You’

These interviews will give you a clearer picture of the true dangers of the Pill, as well as the other options available to couples who want to enjoy their sex life but who are not looking to conceive …
… for example, one simple non-invasive method is extraction, which has a 97% success rate.
(I was surprised at that stat when I first heard it too.)
Either way, if you’ve been taking the Pill for a month, or for an extended period of time, then I thought it was best you knew the truth about the damage it could do.
What you do with that information is up to you.
